The Bay Area Glass Institute is looking for an experienced Hotshop Instructor to join our team in San Jose, Northern California to teach our intermediate and advanced hotshop classes. If you have 6+ years experience in the hotshop and 4+ years experience with teaching then please reach out.
This is an hourly position with room to grow in the position plus benefits to support you with your own practice. The job hours and compensation depend on experience but would range from 15-30 hours a week and $35-40 an hr. Staff members at BAGI receive benefits including discounted studio access.
BAGI is located in History Park near downtown San Jose and has a hotshop, flameworking, fusing, and coldshop in a 6,000 sqft building. Our team is warm and welcoming! We are growing and hoping to add new team members that support our vision to bring glass experiences to the public.
