We’re excited that you want to learn more about how to work with glass! BAGI offers private one-on-one instruction in many of the same disciplines and techniques explored in our group classes and workshops. *These classes are instructional classes not projects you want to make. Glass cost should not exceed 40$ = 2 LB. The costs for private lessons are outlined below. If you working on a project, we are more than willing to connect you with local glass artists on a commission basis.
* If you are working on a special project, the Program Manager gladly will assist you with special arrangements and custom pricing with a BAGI artist or connect you to other local glass artists.
**All private lessons or projects requiring special equipment or materials (large glory holes or kilns), color, coldworking, borosilicate flameworking, etc. may increase cost.

Smaller group, more hands-on! Pure molten fun! This class is designed for small groups and couples that would like to try something a little different and desire a lot of “hands-on”. Each person attending will learn to use the basic tools of the glassblowing trade while creating a paperweight or flower, and either a vase or cup. This private session is a great intro to the glass art world.
