BAGI's hot shop is where you can find artists blowing or sculpting glass from a furnace filled with 500lbs of molten glass at 2100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The hot shop houses three Wet Dog Glass re-heating chambers (a small, medium, and large), two Wet Dog Glass furnaces, four Wet Dog Glass annealers, a Spiral Arts powder booth, and a range of torches and other hand tools available for rental.

Our hot shop is open to rent every day of the week, aside from holidays or group/private events.

Rates

• Large Bench: 30" X 18" 16"ring: $230 for 4 hours
• Medium Bench: 28" X 13" 12"ring: $210 for 4 hours
• Small Bench: 22" X 12" 10"ring: $190 for 4 hours

Renter Responsibilities

• Renters must come 1 hour prior to their start time to ensure their equipment is on and the annealer is unloaded. If the renter isn’t able to do so, please contact staff or email the studio.
• Renters must be cleaned up and out of the workspace by the time the next shift and/or class begins.
• Renters will clean up their space, bench, and all-glass after their time slot. If renters do not adequately clean up for their fellow renters, they will be charged a $50 fee, per the Studio Manager's discretion.
• Renters should be mindful of their fellow renters as it relates to safety and equipment usage.
