Live Glassblowing at Festa Italiana

Come down to City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, CA for Festa Italiana and celebrate the spirit of Italy! Festa Italiana takes place on Sunday, June 1st, from 12 to 4 pm.

Inspired by the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, this festive afternoon brings the beauty and traditions of Italy to life in Alexander Square. The Bay Area Glass Institute will be bringing our mobile furnace for a live glass blowing demonstration between the lawn and The Slanted Door patio. We will also be bringing a selection of beautiful glass art and glassware for guests to peruse and purchase, so they can bring the magic of glass home.

You can also try your hand at bocce ball on the lawn, enjoy live music from an Italian band performing in front of Nike, and admire sidewalk chalk art, featuring 3D renderings of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Mona Lisa. Join us for a day filled with art, music, and Italian charm.
