2026 BAGI T-Shirt Design Contest

2026 BAGI T-Shirt Design Contest

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN

Help us make this year's BAGI T-shirt the best it can be! We're collecting design submissions from the amazing and creative people who come to BAGI every day, that's you! The creator of the winning design will receive $100 in credit to be put towards rentals or classes at BAGI, and, of course, a free t-shirt featuring their shirt idea. These shirts are distributed to BAGI Staff and volunteers at the Santana Row Pumpkin Patch, and are also available in the BAGI Gallery.

Here's the Plan:

Staff, community members, renters, and patrons submit their t-shirt designs to the t-shirt contest. BAGI staff will then go through the designs, and all the appropriate designs will then be presented to the community, who will vote to choose their favorite option. To submit you'll need a brief description of your idea and a completed t- shirt design, submitted as a digital image file. This image can be anything from a complete t-shirt mockup to a picture of a pencil sketch, but bear in mind that this will be the image of your design presented during the voting process.

Submission Period: February 12th - June 1st

Voting Period: June 10th - July 10th

Winner Announced: July 17th

Design Considerations

Focus on the back of the shirt. The front of these shirts is usually the BAGI logo, unless you have a concept in mind that involves both sides, or would be more fun on the front, focus your efforts on the back.

The shirt will most likely be black. Most of our community members surveyed have expressed a preference for a black t-shirt in the past, but if your idea requires another color, you can specify that in the next question.

Keep it professional and family-friendly. The shirt will be distributed to BAGI staff and Santana Row Pumpkin Patch volunteers, who wear these shirts while representing our organization. Inappropriate designs or designs which are not your own IP will not be included in the voting process.

Please submit design ideas with no more than three colors. BAGI works with local printer Eminence Front Graphics (EFG) to screen print our t-shirts. Screen printing involves using a separate screen for each color in a design, and the work associated with each additional screen/color increases the cost of production. Some printing techniques can be used to create different values in these colors, so don't let this hold you back too much, but it is important to keep this restriction in mind.
