"Pattern, Play Polish"
Obsessed with patterns in glass? This class is for you! Using Bullseye glass, we'll unlock endless creative possibilities as we fuse layers of vibrant glass in the kiln. After cutting and shaping in the coldshop, we'll fuse again to create complex patterned forms. Through carving and polishing, we'll transform these fused glass parts into beautifully detailed surfaces. Join us for a journey where the art of glass meets the joy of experimentation—perfect for those eager to blend precision with playfulness! Open to all levels.

About the Artist:
Rachel Rader is a Richmond, Virginia-based whose work blends traditional craft materials with contemporary concepts. Her multifaceted practice is anchored in the ongoing narrative of Ancient Truth Investigators (ATI), a speculative exploration focused on time travel and the boundless expanse of Space. Through a dynamic fusion of performance art, wearable objects, and sculptural forms, Rader engages with themes of memory, humor, and the blurred boundaries between fact and fiction. Each piece invites viewers to consider the interplay of history, myth, and discovery, offering both a visual and intellectual dialogue. Rader’s work challenges the conventional, pushing the limits of craft and narrative, while inviting audiences to reflect on the mysterious and the unknown.
