BAGI NIGHT LIVE! featuring Shelly Woollvin
It's time for the first BAGI NIGHT LIVE! of the summer, featuring local artist and BAGI instructor Shelly Woollvin! We hope you'll join us on Friday, July 17th at 7:00 p.m. for this exciting evening of flameworking and fun.
Shelly teaches a variety of classes here at the Institute, from our Bead Making Groupon sessions for those who have never lit a torch to advanced classes like Seascapes and Reef or Aquarium Beads. In addition to being a fabulous artist and instructor in her own right, Shelly also supports the glass art community as the owner of Frantz Art Glass - an important provider of tools, glass, and other supplies to artists across the country.
From the Artist:
"I enjoy working with molten glass to evoke memories of how it feels to be in nature. A simple wave evokes the feeling of being on the beach, an ocean scene brings to mind the joy of snorkeling, nature scenes in silhouette are reminders of a quiet evening walk."
