Beads of Courage at BAGI
CALLING ALL BEADMAKERS! Join us in BAGI's flameworking studio to create Act of Courage Beads - artist-made glass beads given to acknowledge treatment-defining milestones - to be donated to the Beads of Courage program. It will be a bead bonanza, Saturday, September 14th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm!

Beads of Courage helps children with illnesses record, tell, and own their stories of courage through the use of colorful beads that honor their strength and acknowledge each step of their treatment journey. Children may accrue hundreds, or even thousands, of beads during their treatment. Everyone is welcome to watch the beads being created on Saturday, and there will be other ways to support this incredible program for children! This event has been organized by the Silicon Valley Fireflies chapter of the ISGB and is hosted by the Bay Area Glass Institute.
