Immerse yourself in a fun-filled day of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander culture through performances, cuisine, crafts, and discussions, as we come together to honor AANHPI heritage and strengthen community bonds. The South Bay AANHPI Festival is May 17th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at History Park, located at 635 Phelan Ave. This event is designed for anyone eager to celebrate and learn about the vibrant cultures that make up the AANHPI community.
Be inspired by Asian & Pacific Islander-centric games and crafts, community booths and vendors, a panel discussion sponsored by the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, open exhibits at the Chinese American Museum and the Viet Museum, and an array of cultural performances sponsored by History San José, Mosaic America, the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project and the Viet Museum. Then, head over to the Bay Area Glass Institute to make a beautiful fused glass art piece during our Walk-In Fusing event!
