Team up with BAGI to support Arts for LA in helping artists rebuild after the devastating wildfires in our state early this year. While the news cycle may have moved on, rebuilding the studios and communities lost is a lengthy process and one that we feel strongly about supporting. BAGI staff members are working hard to create beautiful glass that will be available for sale, benefitting Arts for LA, during SJMADE Fest on May 31st and June 1st in History Park. Come and enjoy the festival and stop by BAGI's booth to find some great glass to take home! All proceeds will go towards supporting this important cause and ensuring that our arts community remains strong statewide.
We will also host Walk-In Fusing SJMADE Fest, where participants can create small fused glass works for just $13 in the Flat Shop and experience the wonder of glass art for yourself.
Arts for LA is the only cross-sector and cross-discipline arts advocacy organization in Los Angeles County. AFLA informs, engages, and mobilizes individuals and organizations to advocate for arts access across all communities. Their projects include education for students, advocating for affordable spaces for artists and arts organizations, and reinvestment in the arts and culture in their region. They have all types of resources listed for those artists who have felt the effects of the wildfires.
