BAGI NIGHT LIVE! featuring Stephen Jacklyn
The BAGI NIGHT LIVE! series continues with our next Friday night event featuring local artist and BAGI instructor Stephen Jacklyn! We hope you'll join us on Friday, August 21st at 7:00 p.m. for this exciting evening of art and fire.
Stephen Jacklyn is a glass artist who has been perfecting his craft since 2002. As a Michigan native, he earned his BFA in Crafts from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. He has continued his investigation of glass in both studio and production settings and is skilled in both functional and sculptural glass blowing with a firm groundwork in his knowledge of traditional glass techniques. Stephen teaches many of our classes here at BAGI, from Glass Experiences and Team Building Events to our Introduction to Glassblowing series and advanced classes like Graal and Caneworking Techniques. You may also recognize him from our other Community Nights and demonstrations, as he often acts as a teaching assistant in Visiting Artist classes.
