Celebrate Women's Heritage Day in History Park on Saturday, March 7th from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. BAGI will be out in the park with live flameworking demonstrations and information about glass classes, summer camps, and our other programming. As a nonprofit organization with a largely female leadership team, we are grateful to History San Jose and Mosaic America for putting together this excellent event.
From HSJ:
This year, Mosaic America will feature a vibrant lineup of cultural performances and hands-on workshops. The beloved Poetry Lounge returns to the Empire Firehouse, and ChALE will present a Woman-owned lowrider and classic car show you won’t want to miss. History San José will host interactive craft stations highlighting local historical figures, with historic buildings and indoor exhibitions open to the public. Plus, enjoy a wide variety of outdoor vendors and community organization booths throughout History Park!
Delicious drinks and treats will be available for purchase at the newly reopened O'Brien's as well as onsite food trucks.
Don't miss this festive, family-friendly community gathering as we honor the achievements and contributions of women throughout Santa Clara Valley's history!
