BAGI Night Live! featuring Jeanette Hartley
The Bay Area Glass Institute will be hosting BAGI NIGHT LIVE! featuring BAGI Instructor and Local Artist Jeanette Hartley. Hartley will give a brief artist talk about her inspirations and journey in glass, then we will move into the Hotshop where she will demonstrate her hot glass process! This event takes place Friday, August 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. All are welcome to attend this free community event at Bay Area Glass Institute.

Jeanette was born and raised in San Jose. She began glassblowing and working on the torch here at BAGI in 2016, and started glass fusing in 2021. Jeanette now works at BAGI as an instructor, and coordinator of our corporate and private events.
Jeanette transitioned to glass from her previous business creating custom and sculpted cakes. She brings her flair for cute and lovable characters to her glass creations. Jeanette’s goal is to share her joy and love of glass through fun and playful glass art. She focuses on items that are great for gift-giving.
