Einar & Jamex De La Torre Demonstration and Artist Talk
The Bay Area Glass Institute is honored to host the De la Torre Brothers, Einar and Jamex, for an Artist Talk and Demonstration on Friday, February 28th, at 7:00 pm in celebration of their work and their class "Devitrified Concepts - Crystallized Narratives" taking place at BAGI. Join us in the hotshop and experience the energetic and vibrant glassworking style of the De la Torre Brothers!
Einar and Jamex De la Torre have been collaborating in earnest since the 1990’s. Over the years they have developed their signature style featuring mixed media work with blown glass sculpture and installation art. Their pieces represent a multifaceted view of life that reflects a complex and humorous aesthetic that could be seen as multi-layered baroque.
