BAGI NIGHT LIVE! featuring Kevin Leopold
Join us in the studio for July's BAGI NIGHT LIVE! featuring Kevin Leopold! Kevin is a local flameworking artist who has been melting borosilicate in the torch since 1996. His artwork features a methodical attention to fine details and intricate patterning techniques which he frequently incorporates into marbles, pendants, sculptures, and small vessels. Kevin has been sharing his skills with the BAGI community as an instructor since 2010. His series of borosilicate flameworking classes, from Introduction to Solid Borosilicate to Mini Bottles, has equipped many burgeoning artists with the skills and techniques they need to succeed. On Friday, July 18th, Kevin will share his journey in glass and torchworking skills during an artist talk and demonstration that begins at 6:00 P.M. here at the Bay Area Glass Institute.
