The Hot Shop
Explore our hot shopThe hot shop is where glassblowing happens. Molten glass is blown or hot-sculpted, using blow pipes, long rods called "punties", jacks, shears, tweezers, and more.
-
The Flame Shop
Explore our flame shopThe flame shop is where flameworking happens. Long, thin rods of glass are bent and blown over a table-mounted torch to make jewelry, beads, and even neon signs.
-
The Flat Shop
Explore our flat shopThe flat shop is where fusing happens. Here, glass is cut into mosaic-like pieces and fused in a kiln.
-
The Cold Shop
Explore our cold shopThe cold shop is where coldworking happens. Artists put the finishing touches on their work by polishing, sandblasting, cutting, grinding, and more.

FAQ
Is parking free?
Yes, parking is free. The parking lot entrance is just beyond the History Park pedestrian entrance.
How many people can I bring to a team building event?
It depends. We've had small team building events with five people, and very large ones with nearly 40.
Send us a team building inquiry to see how we might fit you in!
Can kids blow glass?
Yes! Our Glass Experience Classes are open to ages 8 and up in the Hotshop and Flat Shop, and ages 12 and up in the Flame Shop.
During the summer, we host youth glass camps that are perfect for kids to get creative with a mysterious and diverse medium!
Ages range from 8—16.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
If you're planning a visit to BAGI via one of our glass experiences, studio classes, team building event, or anything else, you need to sign our liability waiver here.
I think I'm here...but I can't find BAGI!
Look around...what do you see?
If you're in a really big parking lot that's at the bottom of a hill, you're in the wrong parking lot. Drive back up the hill—we'll be the first gated entrance on your right. Call us for the gate code.
If you see a lot of historical houses, a train, or picnic tables, you're probably walking around History Park. Look up and find the big light tower, and walk towards it until you're right under it. You'll notice a fence that opens up to a parking lot—that's the BAGI parking lot! The entrance is right there, come on in!
